In this role, you will bridge the gap between concept art and final production, working closely with lead designers and developers to bring our projects to life. You will be responsible for establishing visual style guides, creating high-quality assets, and mentoring junior artists.

Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-fidelity 2D assets, including characters, environments, and UI elements, adhering to established visual style guides.
- Create and optimize animation sequences and sprite sheets for real-time rendering.
- Collaborate with the art director and technical leads to ensure assets meet performance and aesthetic standards.
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on artwork to ensure consistency and polish across all platforms.
- Mentor junior artists, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative creative environment.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in 2D graphics and animation.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in 2D art production, preferably within the gaming or interactive software industry.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Blender.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating a wide range of styles and technical skills (character design, environment art, or UI design).
- Deep understanding of color theory, composition, and anatomy (if applicable to character design).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to non-artists.
- Experience working within an Agile development environment.
