Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Conduct advanced research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum software optimized for next-generation processors
- Lead peer-reviewed research publications and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to strategic roadmap development
- Partner with industry leaders to identify commercial applications of quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Experience with high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
