Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Conduct cutting-edge research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Lead quantum hardware testing and validation experiments in our cryogenic labs
- Develop patents for novel quantum methodologies and architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and computational complexity
- Track record of publishing high-impact quantum research papers
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Preferred: Background in machine learning or cryptographic systems
