Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography
- Develop quantum error correction techniques to achieve fault-tolerant computation
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols using superconducting qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with superconducting qubits
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published work in quantum information science or quantum computing
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and microwave control electronics
