Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing frameworks
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research funding through government grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to technical documentation
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments and parallel processing
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and simulation frameworks
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra and group theory
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits preferred
