Aether Systems Inc. is seeking a visionary Lead Architect: Horizon 2026 Initiative to spearhead the development of our next-generation infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you will translate strategic goals into technical blueprints, ensuring our systems are resilient, scalable, and ready for the demands of the future.
Your mission is to architect the backbone of our 2026 roadmap, integrating cutting-edge AI and cloud-native technologies. You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers and data scientists, driving innovation while maintaining rigorous security standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for the Horizon 2026 product line, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Architect scalable, high-availability systems using microservices and containerization technologies (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Lead the integration of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models into core enterprise workflows.
- Oversee the migration of legacy systems to next-generation cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to enterprise security compliance and data privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior architectural role.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), and container orchestration.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale systems on time and within budget.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience implementing AI/ML pipelines and understanding of model lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for executive stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
