Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization and cryptography
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Research emerging quantum technologies (2026 roadmap)
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum research
- Document quantum system architectures and protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and circuit design
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Prior experience with quantum error correction
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum journals
- Strong knowledge of quantum hardware (superconducting, ion trap)
- Experience leading technical teams in R&D environments
