Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 qubit coherence
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic control systems
- Drive quantum software SDK development for developer ecosystem
- Publish research in Nature/Science and present at IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion qubit systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
