Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid algorithms for enterprise applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Lead quantum error mitigation protocols to achieve fault-tolerant operations by 2026
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Create quantum security frameworks resistant to future cryptographic threats
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant computing
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum research papers
