Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant cybersecurity protocols
- Author technical white papers on quantum supremacy applications for industry 4.0
- Secure $10M+ in research grants through NIH and NSF quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Demonstrated success in securing federal quantum research funding
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum system calibration
