Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-AI hybrid systems for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Design fault-tolerant quantum neural networks with >99.9% accuracy
- Develop proprietary quantum encryption protocols for 2026 security standards
- Collaborate with MIT and CERN research partners on quantum computing benchmarks
- Translate theoretical quantum models into scalable production environments
- Mentor a team of quantum software engineers and AI researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum-AI integration
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Proven track record optimizing quantum circuits for NISQ devices
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Security clearance for DoD quantum computing projects preferred
