Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the end-to-end technical roadmap for the 2026 Horizon Initiative, ensuring scalability and future-proofing against emerging tech trends.
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, and researchers to design high-performance, fault-tolerant systems.
- Establish architectural standards and best practices for cloud-native deployments, specifically focusing on edge computing and neural network integration.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and technical evaluations to ensure system integrity and security compliance.
- Mentor junior architects and senior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Collaborate with product leadership to translate strategic vision into technical specifications and deliverables.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Python, Rust, and Kubernetes for high-concurrency environments.
- Proven track record of designing systems that scale to petabyte-level data processing.
- Experience with Quantum Computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) or advanced AI/ML infrastructure (TensorFlow/PyTorch on distributed clusters).
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with a focus on serverless and edge architectures.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical teams and executive stakeholders.
