Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum algorithms for high-impact AI applications, including machine learning and optimization problems.
- Lead a cross-functional team of quantum physicists, software engineers, and data scientists to deliver production-ready systems.
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum hardware and software stacks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, Amazon Braket) to drive architectural decisions.
- Define technical roadmaps and best practices for quantum integration within existing cloud infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product leadership to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field with 8+ years of experience in AI/ML and software architecture.
- Strong proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and quantum computing frameworks.
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and their application in computer science.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects and teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
