We are building the future. Nexus Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Lead Architect to spearhead our Project 2026 initiative—a strategic overhaul of our core infrastructure designed to withstand the demands of the next decade. You will define the technical roadmap, architect scalable systems, and lead a team of elite engineers in building the next generation of autonomous software solutions.
In this role, you won't just maintain systems; you will revolutionize them. You will bridge the gap between theoretical AI capabilities and practical, production-grade engineering.
Responsibilities

- System Design: Lead the design of microservices architecture and distributed systems using cutting-edge cloud technologies (AWS/GCP).
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Performance Optimization: Drive initiatives to reduce latency and improve throughput for high-volume data processing.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and data scientists to translate business goals into technical specifications.
- Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous security protocols to protect proprietary data and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a Lead Architect or Senior Engineering role.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust; deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native architecture.
- AI Integration: Experience integrating Machine Learning models into production environments.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, large-scale technical problems under tight deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
