Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for employees in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- System Deployment: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and network peripherals.
- Help Desk Support: Provide exceptional customer service to internal users via phone, email, and in-person support.
- Network Assistance: Perform basic network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity and printer setup.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and asset inventory.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for employees on new software tools and security protocols.
- Security Compliance: Assist in ensuring that all devices comply with company security policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and office software.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
