Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in critical care settings
- Administer medications and interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment plans
- Document patient records accurately and timely
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA protocols
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions
- Respond effectively to emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX) or compact state
- Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-stress environments
- EMR proficiency (experience with Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
