Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department following evidence-based protocols
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and interventions with precision and compassion
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and electronic health records
- Provide patient/family education and emotional support during critical situations
- Adhere to all safety standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license with immediate PA eligibility)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department experience
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 5+ years ED experience considered)
- Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume settings
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
