Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take accurate patient vital signs and medical histories
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and sterile supplies
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Manage patient records using EHR systems
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative duties
- Ensure exam rooms are sanitized and well-stocked
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech experience a plus)
