Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment and intervention for critical patients in the emergency department
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in EMR systems
- Stabilize trauma patients and prepare for transfers to specialized units
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications mandatory
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong critical thinking and crisis management skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
