Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Lead the long-term strategic vision, identifying key technological trends (AI, Blockchain, Sustainable Tech) that will shape our industry.
- Emerging Tech Research & R&D: Spearhead pilot programs for cutting-edge technologies, evaluating their feasibility and potential impact on our core products.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Translate complex technical strategies into compelling narratives for C-suite executives, investors, and product teams to secure buy-in and resources.
- Future-Proof Infrastructure: Architect scalable and resilient technology stacks capable of handling the demands of a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
- Talent & Culture Development: Build and mentor a high-performance team of futurists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Competitive Analysis: Monitor global technology shifts and competitor strategies to ensure Vantage Point remains a market leader in 2026 and beyond.
- Budget Management: Oversee the strategic allocation of the technology budget, maximizing ROI on R&D initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in technology leadership, strategy, or product management, with at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity.
- Tech Savvy: Deep knowledge of current and upcoming technologies (Generative AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Infrastructure) and their practical business applications.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of developing and executing successful long-term technology roadmaps.
- Leadership: Exceptional ability to lead diverse teams, manage cross-functional projects, and drive organizational change.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: Ability to identify potential risks and opportunities in the tech landscape before they materialize.
