Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive tech adoption in 2026+ landscapes
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Manage innovation incubation programs with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for collaborative R&D
- Ensure compliance with evolving global tech regulations and ethical frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with specialization in emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-disrupting technology products
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: AI/ML, biotech, quantum systems, or Web3
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, horizon scanning)
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in English with optional proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
