We are seeking a visionary Head of 2026 Strategic Tech Vision to lead our R&D division. Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Lead the strategic vision for our technology stack, identifying emerging trends in Quantum Computing and Generative AI to position Chronos Tech as an industry leader.
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, high-performance cloud architectures capable of handling next-gen data loads.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build and mentor a world-class engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, C-suite executives, and external partners to translate business goals into technical realities.
- R&D Innovation: Spearhead experimental projects and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate new technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all architectural decisions adhere to the highest security standards and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or architectural role.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of defining and executing long-term technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and microservices architecture.
- Emerging Tech: Familiarity with AI/ML integration, edge computing, and quantum computing concepts.
- Leadership: Exceptional ability to lead diverse teams, manage conflict, and drive performance under pressure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
