Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and their market implications through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Develop and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D initiatives
- Produce foresight reports and scenario planning models for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to embed future-ready principles into development lifecycles
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech summits and industry foresight forums
- Mentor innovation teams on long-term technology adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies certification (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite decisions through data-driven future narratives
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience with global regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
