Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech/societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ landscape
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans using foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype future-forward solutions
- Collaborate with C-suite to align organizational strategy with long-term future-state vision
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging markets and disruptive technologies
- Create compelling narratives to communicate future scenarios to stakeholders and investors
- Build and maintain ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex future concepts
- Experience with strategic innovation frameworks (e.g., Blue Ocean Strategy, System Innovation)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFPC, APF) strongly preferred
