Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-positive AI
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, product, and policy teams to align on emerging tech adoption
- Produce horizon-scanning reports on disruptive technologies (synthetic biology, AGI governance, quantum internet)
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI systems ensuring human-centric development
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire transformative startups
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, Davos) as a future-tech thought leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, biotechnology convergence
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Advanced degree in Technology Futures, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3-5 year tech predictions implementation
