Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026-focused strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports synthesizing geopolitical, technological, and socioeconomic signals
- Partner with C-suite executives to align corporate strategy with 2026 disruption projections
- Establish quantitative models to quantify emerging market risks and opportunities
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical tools
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal impacts
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in futures research (e.g., CFrA) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks for 2025+
- Experience advising Fortune 500 organizations on long-term strategic positioning
