Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and global megatrends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models to prepare organizational strategies for future disruptions and opportunities
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futurist insights into corporate vision and roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions and business models
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future projections into actionable strategic frameworks for product development and market entry
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with data visualization tools and strategic foresight software (e.g., Palantir, Tableau)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping projects or published research in futurism
