Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and climate adaptation technologies
- Facilitate scenario planning workshops to prepare for alternative future outcomes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future insights into product development pipelines
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global policy and regulatory developments affecting future business environments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Policy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic innovation projects
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
