Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal changes impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, risk assessment, and opportunity mapping
- Lead innovation initiatives from ideation to implementation, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational vision
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into product roadmaps
- Create compelling narratives and visualizations of future scenarios to inspire stakeholders and drive decision-making
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, speaking engagements, and industry forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-oriented thinking and adaptive innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy with proven 2026+ impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and emerging technology assessment frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling business narratives
- Track record of implementing innovation strategies that generated measurable market disruption
- Certification in Futures methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
