Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews in emerging sectors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D centers
- Monitor regulatory developments impacting future technologies
- Drive innovation workshops to identify breakthrough opportunities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in quantum computing, AI/ML, or biotech innovation
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in technology journals
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., CTS, CTSM) preferred
