We are looking for a visionary Senior 2D Graphics Engineer to join our elite engineering team at Nexus Digital. Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and PixiJS.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps performance across all devices and network conditions.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate creative concepts into fluid, interactive animations.
- Debug complex graphical issues and implement creative solutions for visual effects.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices for graphics programming.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging web graphics technologies and integrate them into our tech stack.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D graphics programming and web animation.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern graphics libraries (PixiJS, Phaser, Three.js).
- Deep understanding of the Canvas API, WebGL, or OpenGL ES.
- Experience with physics engines (Matter.js, Box2D) and particle systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
