Responsibilities
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial web) with 3-5 year market impact assessments
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption aligning with 2026 business objectives
- Design proof-of-concept implementations for futuristic solutions in partnership with engineering teams
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible innovation in high-risk domains
- Manage vendor relationships and partnerships in emerging tech ecosystems
- Create competitive intelligence reports on global technology adoption trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5-year horizon planning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum applications, generative AI, or metaverse architecture
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting accuracy (minimum 3 validated predictions)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (IEEE, EU AI Act)
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry conferences
