Job Description
Shape the Future of Computing.
At Nexus Horizon Labs, we are on a mission to define the technological landscape of 2026 and beyond. We are seeking a visionary Neuromorphic Systems Architect to lead the development of brain-inspired computing architectures. In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical neuroscience and high-performance hardware, building the foundational systems for the next generation of AI.
Why Join Us?
We offer the opportunity to work at the bleeding edge of technology, collaborating with top-tier researchers and engineers. You will have ownership over critical infrastructure projects that will power the autonomous systems of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable spiking neural network (SNN) architectures for edge computing devices.
- Lead the research and integration of neuromorphic hardware (e.g., Loihi, TrueNorth derivatives) into software pipelines.
- Optimize power efficiency and latency in real-time inference systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system-level requirements for next-gen AI processors.
- Prototype novel algorithms that mimic biological learning processes for adaptive AI.
- Oversee the verification and testing of hardware-software co-design prototypes.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in system architecture, with specific focus on AI/ML hardware.
- Deep understanding of parallel processing, dataflow architectures, and low-power design principles.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and FPGA programming (Verilog/VHDL).
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier conferences or patents in neuromorphic computing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers and researchers.
