Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2025-2030 horizon) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, advanced AI, and biotech convergence
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Develop and manage innovation budgets exceeding $15M annually
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists, engineers, and data scientists
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026+ technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record leading large-scale R&D initiatives ($10M+ budgets)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum, AI ethics, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published author or speaker at global tech conferences (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to commercialization
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
