Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems
- Lead bias audits and fairness assessments for generative AI models deployed in production
- Develop stakeholder engagement protocols for transparent AI decision-making processes
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging AI risks and societal impacts through 2030
- Create educational materials on AI ethics for internal teams and external partners
- Advise product teams on ethical considerations during AI system design and deployment
- Represent the company in industry consortiums focused on responsible AI standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with focus on AI ethics (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing AI ethics frameworks in tech or research environments
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques for machine learning models
- Published research on algorithmic fairness or explainable AI
- Experience with regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong background in interdisciplinary collaboration with engineers and policymakers
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable guidelines
- Proficiency in Python for bias auditing tools and ethical impact assessments
