Job Description
We are looking for a visionary Quantum Machine Learning Engineer to join our elite team in San Francisco. As we look toward the horizon of 2026, we are building the infrastructure for the next industrial revolution. You will be at the forefront of integrating classical machine learning models with emerging quantum computing paradigms to solve problems deemed impossible by traditional silicon-based systems.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering, helping us unlock the full potential of quantum supremacy.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning tasks.
- Bridge the gap between quantum hardware and classical software stacks using Python and C++.
- Optimize quantum circuits to maximize fidelity and reduce error rates in real-world environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists and data scientists to define research roadmaps.
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing libraries and tools.
- Lead technical workshops and mentor junior engineers in quantum theory and programming.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Proficiency in Python, CUDA, and distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics.
- Experience deploying models to cloud-based quantum processors is highly preferred.
