Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological advancements
- Develop innovation roadmaps integrating AI, blockchain, and quantum computing
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech labs
- Build and mentor a cross-functional futurist team
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, etc.)
- Track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in foresight methodology (e.g., CFP) preferred
- Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist research or frameworks
- Experience scaling tech teams in high-growth environments
