Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology strategy integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions for healthcare, energy, and mobility sectors
- Monitor global tech trends (Nanotech, Biocomputing, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Develop patent portfolios with 15+ annual filings in emerging technologies
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and C-suite executives quarterly
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor innovation lab teams while maintaining technical thought leadership
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ products launched)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic AI, or nanotech
- Executive-level strategic planning experience in Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science with 50+ citations in relevant fields
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Fluency in Python/C++ with experience in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
