Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) to create strategic foresight reports
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market predictions and business objectives
- Lead innovation workshops with engineering, design, and product teams to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R labs to incubate next-gen technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting future tech adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI, quantum, neurotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
