Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit capabilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Research and implement quantum networking solutions for distributed quantum computing
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing infrastructure evolution through 2026
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and foster cross-disciplinary innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields (preferred)
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel programming
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects from concept to deployment
- Certification in quantum computing or advanced physics (desirable)
