Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptography implementations for financial systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Quantify quantum advantage through benchmarking against classical systems
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Publish findings in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or other quantum SDKs
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum annealing
- Prior experience publishing in quantum computing peer-reviewed journals
- Security clearance for quantum cryptography projects (or willingness to obtain)
