Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends and geopolitical shifts to forecast industry landscapes for 2026-2030
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives and market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to pioneer breakthrough technologies
- Monitor competitor strategies and regulatory developments affecting future tech adoption
- Author thought leadership publications on technology futures and disruption forecasting
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating complex future trends into successful business strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on technology transformation
- Published author or keynote speaker at global tech conferences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management
