Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation strategy across quantum AI, biotech convergence, and climate tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype next-gen solutions with 18-month commercialization horizons
- Establish partnerships with NASA, MIT, and global research institutions for frontier tech exploration
- Present strategic foresight frameworks to the board and investors for $500M+ innovation portfolio
- Mentor a 12-person 'Future Architects' team in emerging tech adoption methodologies
- Author industry-defining thought leadership on 2026 tech disruption vectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 scale impact
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Published research on exponential technology adoption curves or innovation forecasting
- Deep expertise in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning frameworks
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Experience securing $50M+ R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation ventures
