Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term vision
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for future market disruptions
- Drive cross-functional R&D initiatives in emerging domains
- Present insights to C-suite and external stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors affecting future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (blockchain, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting
- Experience with Delphi method and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technology convergence patterns
- Expertise in ethical frameworks for future tech governance
