Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks to quantify market readiness for 2026-era innovations
- Produce executive-grade trend reports translating complex data into actionable business intelligence
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future paradigms
- Design and maintain an innovation pipeline targeting 3-5 year technology adoption curves
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related quantitative field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or D3.js
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience with Delphi methodology and cross-impact matrix analysis
