Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and emerging technologies to identify strategic opportunities and risks for 2026+
- Develop comprehensive future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on long-term vision and execution priorities
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market research to maintain first-mover advantage
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects or published thought leadership
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent experience
