Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype and scale next-generation solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and emerging market opportunities
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present futuristic visions to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused allocation strategies
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an experimental, fail-fast culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/bio)
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Future Studies (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive stakeholder experience
- Published thought leader in innovation or futurism (journal/conference)
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (Design Thinking, Lean Startup, etc.)
- Experience managing distributed R&D teams across global markets
