Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in quantum-AI convergence and neural interface technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, World Economic Forum, and NASA innovation hubs
- Develop patent portfolios for emerging technologies in carbon capture and decentralized energy grids
- Design immersive foresight workshops using metaverse platforms and generative AI
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdocs in future studies and exponential tech
- Present annual innovation briefings to C-suite and government advisory boards
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Computational Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation roles at FAANG or top-tier research institutions
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum computing or biotech applications
- Proven track record of scaling moonshot projects from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in scenario planning using Monte Carlo simulations and agent-based modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio of 3+ patented technologies with $10M+ market impact
