Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients using predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for climate adaptation, AI governance, and neurotech integration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging risks and opportunities in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and space economics
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine collaboration standards
- Deliver keynote presentations at global innovation summits and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-driven resource allocation
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis tools
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Published author in futurism publications or patents in emerging technologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight.org)
