Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for paradigm shifts in consumer behavior and industrial automation
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof innovations into commercial roadmaps
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Mentor cross-functional teams on foresight methodologies and adaptive strategy frameworks
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis for 5+ year horizons
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with experience translating insights into executive presentations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFPS) or advanced degree in Futures Studies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementations
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives in tech or Fortune 500 environments
